About Crystal
I have 15 years of playing experience; classical training under Music Matters Galway, and active performance in the UCD Symphony Orchestra.
My background with Music Matters includes regular solo and group performances, ensembles which I led as a first violinist, and progressing through Suzuki Book 6.
This laid a strong foundation in advanced violin technique and musicality, which strongly benefited me all throughout JC and LC music, leading me to achieve a distinction in JC music, a H1 in LC music in 2024, where I was the only person in my school to have gotten a H1 that year, and scored 97% in my LC music practical.
My strong foundations also helped me when I first joined the UCD Symphony Orchestra in my first year of college, a highly selective ensemble featuring some of the university's top musicians and Ad Astra music scholars.

I offer 30 min lessons in person, located in Dublin on weekdays, and Athlone on weekends.
Using the structured Suzuki Violin repertoire alongside traditional classical methods, students will develop a natural ear for music and solid tone production right from the start. If you are a beginner of any age, picking up the instrument for the first time or even someone with a slight interest in the violin, every lesson is tailored to your individual pace and goals.
