I also have a year of experience teaching social studies through the Louisiana Bayou Bridge framework, which has deepened my approach to helping students connect history with their everyday lives. My approach combines close reading, text-based discussions, and writing strategies that boost critical thinking and confidence. Whether it's analyzing a protagonist’s journey or exploring the causes of the American Revolution, I guide students to think deeply, not just memorize facts.
