About Takalani

Having done CTA twice(only passed in 2nd attempt), I have strengthened my understanding of complex accounting concepts and gained valuable insight into the dedication, discipline and effective study techniques required to succeed.

As a part-time student while working a full-time 9-to-5 job, I had to learn how to balance competing responsibilities, study efficiently and go beyond simply understanding the material to mastering it for examinations. This experience has taught me the importance of consistency, perseverance and applying knowledge to practical questions.

I am interested in tutoring because I want to help other students navigate the challenges of Accounting, simplify difficult concepts and develop the confidence to tackle examinations independently. I understand how overwhelming the journey can be, and I hope to share the knowledge, strategies and practical approaches that helped me along the way. My goal is to make Accounting more approachable and help students achieve their academic potential through patient, structured and personalised guidance.

About the lesson

I offer personalised Accounting tutoring in Financial Reporting, Taxation, Management Accounting and Finance. With a BCom in Accounting from Wits and a PGDip (CTA) from Milpark, I use a patient, practical and structured teaching approach to simplify complex concepts and build students’ confidence. Lessons include clear explanations, worked examples and exam-style questions tailored to each student’s needs. I teach in English and cater to university and college students, from those needing help with the fundamentals to those preparing for tests and examinations. My goal is to help students understand concepts, improve their results and develop independent problem-solving skills.
