About Helen
When you pick up your violin, you are likely thinking more about your fingers than the music itself. I spent 13 years refining my craft across studios and stages before dedicating my time to students like you. Teaching 160 students has taught me that mechanics must serve the melody. It is just about finding that balance.

"Usually, these lessons involve a quiet focus on the minute details of your bow hold. To be honest, the hardest part of violin is staying patient with the small adjustments. I provide a monthly progress report shared with parents to keep everyone aligned. We cover double stops, sight reading, spiccato, staccato bowing, classical repertoire, scales, arpeggios, shifting positions, ear training, and tuning by ear.
By bringing 9 years of specific technical insight to the room, I act as your mentor from the first scratch to the stage. See you at your next practice."
