About Lucy
My name's Lucy and I'm a Modern Languages student at Newcastle University. My love for languages, and German specifically, started at GCSE so my aim is to help students at a similar stage see past the complex grammar, spelling and vocabulary to become a competent and confident speaker of a foreign language! I have experience living and working abroad and have a strong grasp of the German language, having used it in day to day scenarios.

I use a varied approach, focusing on either practical German, pronunciation, vocabulary, or grammar depending on the specific student's needs. The lessons are targeted for beginner students and lesson length is usually 45 minutes. I have experience teaching languages abroad and working with students from different backgrounds and ages so am able to tailor each lesson accordingly.
