About Dylan
Hi, I’m a friendly and motivated student currently applying to study Medicine.
I’ve recently
completed National 5s and Highers across Maths, Sciences, and Modern Studies, and I’m now
studying Advanced Highers in Chemistry, Biology, and Modern Studies.
Having gone through the SQA system myself, I know how stressful exams can feel and how
confusing some topics can be at first.
That’s why I like to explain things in a simple, clear way and
help students build confidence step by step.
I’m patient, approachable, and easy to talk to, and I aim to make lessons relaxed while still focused
and productive. I genuinely enjoy helping others improve and seeing their confidence grow over
time.
Outside of studying, I’m working towards a career in Medicine, so I’m very motivated and
understand the importance of working consistently to achieve your goals.

About My Lessons
My lessons are designed to be clear, supportive, and tailored to each student’s needs.
I focus on
breaking down complex Modern Studies topics into simple, easy-to-understand ideas, helping
students build both knowledge and confidence.
A big part of my teaching is focused on exam technique. I use SQA marking schemes and past
paper questions to show students exactly how to structure answers and maximise marks, especially
for source-based and essay questions.
Lessons are interactive and student-led, meaning we focus on the areas you find most difficult.
I
also provide practice questions and tips for revision and time management to help you improve
outside of sessions.
Whether you’re aiming to pass or achieve top grades, I aim to create a relaxed but productive
environment where you feel comfortable asking questions and making progress each week.
