About Mallory

If you've made it this far- hello! My name is Mallory and I am a passionate, driven, motivated, woman who has a deep desire to hear others' stories. Everyone's story is valuable and I believe that through listening and hearing others' stories, we can learn and grow to be a more compassionate and empathetic society. With this in mind, I LOVE to hear others' stories of motherhood. If you're a mom, I think we all have part of our identity wrapped up in this important work of motherhood. We want to feel connected, seen, and valued as both a mom AND outside of being a "mom". I am a mom of 3; I have a 6-year-old boy, a 4-year-old girl, and a 6 mo. I earned my bachelor's in elementary education from Furman University and completed my teaching certificate in 2014. I am a former educator both within the classroom setting, as well as through private tutoring. In my most recent role, I was an early intervention developmental specialist where I coached parents of children with developmental delays. Although I'm not still teaching in the traditional sense, I still consider myself a teacher every day as I stay home with my kids. I'm not running a daycare or a homeschooling program, but "teaching" happens through everyday activities. I am passionate about how these 2 worlds collide: teaching and motherhood. With this passion, I have created this platform to serve you, as a woman and a mom. I want to hear your story, and together help you come up with a plan to THRIVE as you live out your truest story.

About the lesson

Hey momma, mommy, mom- I see you. You're doing the "thing". The Motherhood "thing". Do you want to THRIVE in motherhood? Are you an exhausted, lonely, and concerned momma desiring guidance? Or maybe you're an excited, joyful, and cheerful mommy who wants to become more organized and scheduled. Together, we will look at your goals, both personally and as a mother, and effectively brainstorm how to meet those goals. Some areas of significant experience that I personally feel passionate about- getting organized, creating schedules, offering sleep schedule guidance, finding local communities to be involved in as a mom, and sharing educational ideas/resources to foster your child's development. What would the first few "lessons" look like? --- As opposed to a "lesson" from me to you, I think of this relationship more as a mentoring one. The initial meeting would consist of me learning more about YOU, and you learning about me, to see if we might be a good fit! If you choose to continue in this mentorship/partnership the following sessions would consist of processing your goals and desires as a woman and a mom, discussing how I can help you reach those goals, coming up with an action plan, and continuous conversations as different and new goals/desires arise.
