About Jemima
Hi there! I’m Jemima! I’ve been a tutor for the past year, and have a special interest in Psychology and Sociology. I’ve been studying Psychology for over 4 years now, and graduated my BSc Psychology course at a top 40 UK University with a first class degree, and am now finishing my clinical psychology masters. I am very passionate about psychology and love seeing people achieve, whether you love the topic and just need some empowerment or are struggling with the basics I’m here to help!

I’ve been a Psychology Tutor working at the University of Kent for the past year working with pre-A Level and A Level Pupils. In my 4 year psychology journey I have a range of tutoring topics under my belt including Clinical Psychology, Forensic Psychology and Research Methods and Statistics. I have also had a lot of experience with psychology writing, having worked on 3 dissertation projects to date, both quantitative and qualitative. My teaching style is adaptable to suit your needs, professional, neurodivergent affirming and student oriented. I am happy to help with practice tests, recapping and learning content, practising essays and assisting with revision. I am very passionate about psychology and sociology, and also understand how it feels to struggle to understand it in the beginning, hence I am patient in my lessons, good at adapting to suit the needs of the learner and most of all love seeing other people succeed. My lessons are typically an hour long, but can be extended to 2 if needed, but I am very flexible to the needs of my learner and happy to discuss further. I endeavour to work with almost every level of psychology from those just exploring the subject to those studying at university!
