About Adèle
I started my career over 16 years ago with my chef apprenticeship with City & Guilds NVQ 3, I worked in various restaurants, bars and private catering before moving to management roles.
I set up a company in 2015, which delivers cookery workshops to children in nursery schools in Edinburgh & Midlothian. I also delivered workshops for parents and children, sensory food workshops and healthy eating lunch workshops.
I went back into formal education after the birth of my son, where I have now gained an HND in Event Management, BA Degree in Business Management and I am currently a student on my MSc Gastronomy in Edinburgh. I have a current PVG, level 2 in food safety and a Covid in hospitality safety certificate also.
I am passionate about delivering easy, healthy and tasty recipes that everyone can follow. I like to encourage families to cook together, learn together & share together

My teaching method is pupil led, I take the lead from my student's abilities and plan my delivery around this.
I have easy to follow structured lesson plans which include an intro to the lesson with a brief overview of what we will cover, what you hope to achieve and how we will do this. I also use visual prompts and recipe cards.
