About Gokulavani
Hello! I’m Gokulavani, a passionate and dedicated tutor with a strong academic background in Agriculture, Biology, and Environmental Science. I hold a First-Class BSc in Agriculture, awarded with a Gold Medal, and a Distinction in my MSc in Agriculture and Development from the University of Reading. With hands-on experience as a Research Fellow in the UK, I bring deep practical knowledge of real-world challenges in plant science, sustainability, and food systems into my lessons. I’ve worked on cutting-edge research in climate-resilient crops, crop physiology, and agricultural production—experience that allows me to make science come alive for my students. My goal is to share not just knowledge, but curiosity, clarity, and confidence. As a dedicated and enthusiastic tutor, I combine academic expertise with a practical, student-focused approach to learning. My lessons are tailored to the individual needs of each student, helping them build confidence, deepen understanding, and improve their exam performance in both Biology and Environmental Science. I use a mix of visual aids, real-world examples, and interactive problem-solving to make complex topics engaging and easier to understand. Drawing on my research background, I link textbook content to real-life applications—such as climate change, ecosystems, and sustainable agriculture—to keep students interested and motivated. With an MSc in Agriculture and Development (Distinction) from the University of Reading and a First-Class BSc in Agriculture, I bring both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience from laboratory and field research.
