About Alex
Alex Pearson holds an MSc Health Behaviour Change, is a MNU certified nutritionist and a fully qualified personal trainer. He is the owner of Body Matters Collective, a coaching company specialising in health behaviour change.
Alex has also been teaching health professionals about behaviour change, health psychology and nutrition for nearly a decade. In 2017, he co-wrote and delivered a new qualification to certify personal trainers. This included specific modules focused on evidence-based health behaviour change, nutrition science and chronic medical conditions.

I believe that learning takes place best in a free-flowing conversation. That is why all my lessons are structured as dialogue between the student and myself.
We begin by establishing the student’s specific area of interest. Then we will create a tailored learning plan which takes into consideration the students unique learning style, the content which needs to be covered and any deadlines. This allows us to plan the frequency of our lessons and any additional learning.
I have been teaching health professionals about health psychology, behaviour change and nutrition for nearly a decade. This means I have a huge amount of written and video content which can be used to support students learning between any lessons.
I can provide teaching, mentoring, essay critique to Masters level.
