About Shannon-Marie
Psychology graduate and current Health Psychology Masters student. I have been offering 'life mentoring' to 10 or so fellow students. I have helped then to learn new ways in which to curb anxiety when it comes to exams and assignments, as well as help them deal with and manage their stress.

My method is very person-centred. Whilst when we are stressed and anxious, we feel like our bodies are betraying us. However, we can regain control by 'tricking' our own brain to rethink its stress and anxiety responses. My style of life-mentoring is very calm and relaxed, and very conversation like where we go through the situations where you feel stressed, rationalise them and learn tips for the next time they happen. All tips and hints are advice, and you are welcome to accept or reject them. Our bodies and brains are all different, and what works for one person may not work for another.
