About Kristine
I am an MSN-prepared registered nurse, experienced nurse educator, and former nursing professor with more than six years of pediatric nursing experience. I have taught pediatric nursing and health assessment skills while supporting students as they developed the knowledge, confidence, and clinical judgment needed for nursing school and professional practice.
As the owner of Lifesaving Learning, I provide individualized tutoring for nursing students and graduates preparing for the NCLEX-RN. My teaching style is supportive, practical, and focused on understanding—not simply memorizing information. I help students connect pathophysiology, assessment findings, laboratory values, medications, and nursing interventions while learning how to apply that knowledge to complex clinical scenarios.
I understand that every student learns differently. I tailor each session to the student’s goals, learning style, current coursework, and areas for improvement. Whether you need help understanding a difficult topic, preparing for an upcoming exam, strengthening test-taking strategies, or developing a structured NCLEX-RN study plan, I will meet you where you are and help you move forward with confidence.

Each tutoring session is personalized to your specific goals, strengths, learning needs, and areas for improvement. Whether you are preparing for the NCLEX-RN or seeking support in a nursing course, lessons are designed to strengthen content knowledge, clinical judgment, test-taking skills, and confidence.
For NCLEX-RN preparation, sessions may include content review, traditional and Next Generation NCLEX questions, prioritization and delegation, test-taking strategies, and detailed remediation. Students learn a consistent process for approaching questions:
1. Identify keywords and important client data
2. Reword the question to determine what it is truly asking
3. Recall the relevant nursing content
4. Apply frameworks such as ABCs, safety, Maslow’s hierarchy, and NCLEX Client Needs
5. Eliminate unsafe or unrelated answer choices and select the safest, most evidence-based response
Nursing course support is based on the student’s current lectures, learning objectives, assignments, and upcoming exams. Lessons can cover Fundamentals, Health Assessment, Pharmacology, Medical-Surgical Nursing, Pediatrics, and Critical Care. Practice questions, case studies, concept mapping, and guided content review help students connect pathophysiology, assessment findings, laboratory values, medications, and nursing interventions.
Rather than relying on memorization alone, each session focuses on understanding why an answer is correct, recognizing why other options are incorrect, and applying knowledge to new clinical situations. Sessions are interactive, supportive, and adjusted to the student’s pace so every learner receives the individualized guidance needed to progress toward their goals.
