About Jenna
Jenna is an accomplished music composer and pianist based in Sydney, Australia, celebrated for her ability to create enchanting melodies and evocative soundscapes. Specialising in compositions for film, television, and games, Jenna is an alumnus of both JMC Academy and AFTRS.
Her impressive body of work includes scoring several short films, notably Magnetic, which premiered at the Sydney Film Festival, and Toyboy, for which she received a nomination for Best Original Score at the Made in the West Festival.
In addition to her significant contributions to short films and video games, Jenna's music is featured across various Australian networks, including ABC, Seven, Foxtel, and SBS. Her compositions have enhanced notable television programs such as Stan's The Ben Robert-Smith: Truth On Trial, The Great Australian Bake Off, and Close Encounters Down Under.
Jenna's commitment to her craft and passion for storytelling through music set her apart as a remarkable composer in the Australian music scene. With every piece she creates, she strives to evoke emotions, enrich narratives, and engage audiences, showcasing her extraordinary talent and leaving a lasting impression on every project.
In 2024, Jenna completed a WIM Mentorship with Caitlin Yeo at Church Street Studios, participated in APRA AMCOS’ High Score Songhubs, and continued to have tracks featured on TV shows globally. She is also writing music for an upcoming true crime docuseries and working on her first video game. When not composing, Jenna dedicates her time to volunteering for the Gender Equity Committee with the AGSC and with Women in Music Australia.

My name is Jenna, a screen and games composer based in Sydney, Australia. I have scored numerous short films, games and advertisements. Currently, I work as a freelance composer at Primerchord Music, Melodie Music and Fliktrax. My tracks have had placements on over 30 television shows including: Great Australian Bake Off, Bondi Rescue, The Amazing Race and Truth On Trial.
If you are interested in learning basic piano skills, music composing, music production or just gaining an overall understanding of where you can end up in the music industry, my lessons are for you!
I work in Logic Pro X, Sibelius and can give you a better understanding of how to utilise these softwares to create your own music (whether it's orchestral, ambient, cinematic, or electronic).
I have been studying piano since I was little, and have sat up to Grade 6 AMEB Piano for Leisure, have taught piano to beginners before, and have a Bachelor of Music and Graduate Certificate in Screen Music.
