About Colin
I am a graduate of University of Glasgow with a first class honours degree in music with masters in musicology at University of Edinburgh. I received a distinction in ABRSM Grade 8 Classical Guitar and have 9 years of experience studying and performing on classical guitar, in jazz bands and in rock groups, as well as several years' experience teaching a variety of genres on the guitar.

I approach each student individually and tailor lessons around the student's personal goals and ability level, from absolute beginners up to advanced level players, and believe in a holistic approach to learning guitar which incorporates learning elements of improvisation, music theory, technique and repertoire at an appropriate level.
