About Maeve
I have an honours music degree from Maynooth University and a violin teaching diploma from The Leinster School of Music. My postgrad is in primary school teaching from Exeter University where I specialised in teaching music in primary schools. I have taught the violin for over 20 years in various music schools in Dublin. I have been a member of numerous orchestras and string quartets and have extensive experience setting up music groups, ensembles and choirs in schools. I currently am a primary school teacher and enjoy teaching the violin privately in my own home.

I teach individuals of all ages and abilities and have extensive experience teaching music and the violin to children with additional needs.
I teach lessons from my own home in a calm, relaxed and fun environment. I believe that learning the violin can improve concentration, coordination and listening skills. We sing, we play and we have lots of fun. Enjoyment is key!
