About Sivert

Hello, my name is Sivert Vågen. I am currently in my final year of a bachelor's in songwriting and music production at Kristiania College here in Oslo. As a producer and songwriter, I have had several songs on the radio and regularly play live with a number of artists. I work with many different genres and have a broad taste in music - everything from R&B to electropop to singer/songwriter. Logic Pro is my main tool, where I write, produce, record and mix.

About the lesson

Do you want to learn how to produce and write your own music?

I can help you with everything from songwriting to music production, using Logic Pro as the tool. I also give guitar lessons, and I am happy to help you with basic music theory.

I am keen to meet you where you are. It doesn't matter if you're brand new, know a bit of Logic from before or have been making music for years. If you take a class with me, the focus will always be on your goals and what you want to get out of the lessons. I myself have experienced how frustrating it can be to learn something new and therefore have a great focus on patience and positivity.

My main area is all parts of songwriting and music production, from melody and text writing to arrangement, programming and recording. I have played guitar, piano and sung for several years and therefore have a broad knowledge and understanding of genres.
