About Harry
I have worked on music for labels such as Universal Music; Warner Records; Sony & RAM Records and have had my music featured in Mixmag and DJ Mag. I have also composed bespoke music for TV shows on networks such as NBC, CBS, BBC and Channel 4. I have ten years experience teaching all ages music production and DJing at schools around London. I have a bachelors degree in sound engineering and have sixteen years of hands on experience working in a wide range of recording studios and DJing in clubs like Ministry of Sound; Corsica Studios; Koko; Scala and much more.

We can work together to perfect the skills you need to produce release ready music, in any genre, that will grab the attention of any listener. Working in Ableton Live or Logic Pro I tailor the lessons to each student’s abilities and goals. We can move at your favoured pace so that you can get the most out of each lesson. Production lessons are taught at my own studio in East London. My teaching methods involve live demonstrations, collaborating on tracks and 1-to-1 teaching. I find that one of the easiest ways to learn is by jumping straight in to using the tools. I try to explain any theory or technical detail as we’re working on a track or putting together a mix. Here is a loose outline of what we could cover: Music Production Curriculum (Beginner): Stage 1: Understanding your music software of choice Stage 2: Using audio and MIDI Stage 3: Developing melodies Stage 4: Structuring a track Stage 5: Using compression & EQ Stage 6: Basic mix down techniques Stage 7: Using synthesisers & sampling Stage 8: Using Automation Stage 9: Recording and producing vocals Stage 10: Finalising and mixing a finished track Moving forward: Advanced synthesis; contacting record labels
