About Kurtis
I am a musician. I have given many guitar lessons to high school students through coops. I have over 11 years of guitar playing experience and would love to teach students of all ages on guitar-regardless of genre, style, or type of guitar preference. I personally love all types of music and hope to finish my music degree at Wilfrid Laurier University to pursue music education.

I base my classes on the individual student's goals and interests. Teaching acoustic, electric, and bass guitar, I approach teaching through either a theory-based approach and/or a hobby-based approach, depending on the student's goals and interests. Whether it be jazz, rock, blues, etc, my classes are built around the student's passions and musical goals.
