About Leandro

I have been playing the guitar since I was 8 years old and I have been composing songs since I was 10. I graduated from the TAP (Professional Artistic Path) with an orientation in Violin at the "Manuel de Falla" Superior Conservatory of Music (CSMMF) and I also studied for a time at the Avellaneda School of Popular Music (EMPA). I presented works of my authorship in different bars and cultural centers in the City of Buenos Aires. I am currently studying Higher Education in Music at the CSMMF and I am a music teacher at two initial level institutions. At the same time, I give private lessons in Guitar, Violin, Singing and Piano.

About the lesson

Based on the student's prior knowledge and personal musical interests and objectives, a didactic-pedagogical route will be devised that covers the following general contents:

- Repertoire: selection of works based on the level and musical interest of the student and tools for singing and performing

- Melody: fingering and interpretation of scales, riffs, plucks and solos in the works of the Repertoire and/or in exercises according to the level

- Harmony: chords of the works in the repertoire and progressive tour of the different existing chords (major, minor, augmented, diminished, tetrad chords and more!)

- Rhythm: rhythm of the melody and harmonic rhythm of the works in the repertoire and progressive exercises on the various existing rhythmic figures

Constant attention will be paid to the student's posture when playing the instrument and the classes will be complemented with other basic concepts and notions of Musical Language, such as tonality, modality, harmonic functionality, etc. and with exercises that involve Audioperception, that is, the auditory recognition of everything we learn.
