About Luke
I’m a professional Musical Director and pianist currently studying Piano for Theatre at Mountview, with experience working across professional theatre and live performance. I offer piano tuition for all levels, with a particular focus on musical theatre — including audition preparation, accompanying, sight-reading, playing from lead sheets and developing the skills needed to work as a theatre pianist or MD.

My lessons are tailored to each student, whether you’re completely new to the piano, looking to improve your technique, or wanting to develop your skills specifically for musical theatre. Alongside traditional piano playing, I can teach sight-reading, chord playing, lead sheets, accompaniment, playing in an ensemble and the practical skills needed to work as a theatre pianist or Musical Director.
As a MD and pianist, I can also offer guidance for auditions, self-tapes, conservatoire applications and preparing for professional theatre work. Lessons are focused, supportive and practical, with the aim of making you a confident and versatile musician.
