About Eloysa

I am a pianist and music producer graduated from the Mannes School of Music in New York. I have performed numerous recitals as a soloist and with ensembles, specializing in the classical repertoire. In addition, I have received honors for my academic work in music theory, analysis, and history. Along with my studies and artistic career, I have developed as a music producer and piano and music theory teacher, introducing students to music for the first time and giving them the tools to express themselves creatively through music.

About the lesson

My classes are flexible and I structure them around the objectives and expectations of each student and I start from the level at which each one is. My goal is to deliver basic concepts such as scales, intervals, chords, tonality, pulse, rhythm, among others, so that the student feels confident to explore and create using the musical language. We also learn to read sheet music; learn to play chords and melodies on the piano (if the student has a keyboard); music theory and song analysis for auditory development; and basic music production techniques to start creating your own songs and putting the concepts learned into practice.
