About Luke

My name is Luke Scanlon, I am in my second year at Maynooth University studying Irish. This is where I will get my degree and pursue a master's where I can become a teacher. I graduated from Gaelcholáiste na Mara in Wicklow where I spent 6 years learning through Irish.

About the lesson

I can help students with all levels of Irish, whether that means improving their grade, helping with grammar, essays, or even just translations. I can also help students improve their speaking ability in Irish, which can help with oral exams. This can be suited for students in Junior Certificate ordinary or higher level and also Leaving Certificate ordinary or higher level Irish

Deadly! Luke wa an excellent tutor to my daughter prepping for her JC Irish at higher level. He took time to request and review her previous work to date, prioritise goals and within 2 sessions her confidence and approach to the subject had improved so much. He provided excellent resources for support between sessions, and flexibility in session style both in person and online. Thanks Luke !

Excellent! I was preparing for the TEG B1 exam . He knew what was involved in the exam and the lesson was focused on practicing the oral. He also gave some exercises to do at home that i then sent him by mail. I was happy with the classes.
