About Ranna

Hi there!

My name is Ranna and I am an English graduate from Ireland. I graduated university in 2019 and started travelling around the world. I began teaching English first in Australia, to adult learners from Korea and then went to Vietnam where I lived for four years teaching in an international primary school.

I am passionate about teaching and I am passionate about helping you to develop your confidence and skills for using English to express yourself freely. I would love to support you to deepen your knowledge and receive greater opportunities of connection in work, school and abroad.

About the lesson

I am a very passionate and engaging teacher who is resourced with lots of different teaching techniques and styles to meet a range of learning needs.

I especially love to encourage students to build confidence with speaking to fully express effortlessly and be okay with making mistakes!

I use a lot of visual and audio tools to make learning as relatable and interesting as possible for you.

I have worked with a range of age groups and proficiencies, in countries such as Vietnam, Cambodia and Australia focusing on vocabulary, grammar, reading and writing skills.

I am now looking to teach age 14 + and adults for conversation work.
