About Thomas
Hi! I’m Thomas, a passionate and experienced debating and public speaking coach with a strong background in competitive debating. I’m currently a Law and Arts student at the Australian National University, where I’ve honed my skills in critical thinking, communication, and argumentation. As a former State Champion debater, I’ve competed at the highest levels and understand what it takes to succeed. I’ve also served as a Debating Coach and adjudicator, helping students improve their confidence, clarity, and technique. At university, I've continued my public speaking success by winning ANU's internal mooting competition. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to refine your skills, I’m committed to helping you excel and enjoy the art of public speaking and debating. Whether you're preparing for competitions or just looking to build your skills, I'm here to help you achieve your goals.
Lessons will be at least an hour to ensure that all elements can be covered - argument and idea formation, speech structuring and writing, and finally delivery. My lessons are targeted ideally and high school students.
