About Luz

I have been teaching Spanish online for a year while completing my studies in Art History, working with students of various levels, from beginners to advanced learners. Throughout this experience, I discovered my passion for teaching, enjoying not only my students’ progress but also everything I learn from them in the process. I have developed a teaching methodology that focuses on active conversation, exploring topics that interest the student in a supportive, respectful, and encouraging environment. As we progress, we integrate grammar naturally, always prioritizing oral communication and practice. Additionally, I provide complementary resources to reinforce independent learning at home, a key aspect of making significant progress. These resources include articles, podcasts, movies, and readings, all carefully selected to match the student’s level and preferences.

About the lesson

Learning a language goes beyond grammar rules; it’s about being able to communicate.

For beginners, the main goal is to express themselves and understand what they hear in everyday situations. For more advanced learners, the focus is on achieving greater fluency. Regardless of your level, developing a genuine interest in the language is essential, and one of the best ways to do so is by connecting it to the topics you’re most passionate about.
