About Bastien
I am a native French speaker from Belgium and a freshman linguistics major at UCSD. I have tutored AP French for 2 years, helping students improve their grammar, writing, pronunciation, speaking confidence, and overall understanding of the language.
Because I learned in both European and American school systems, I understand what high school French students need to succeed in class, on exams, and in real conversation. My approach is clear, patient, and practical: I focus on fixing weak points, building confidence, and making French feel natural instead of intimidating.
