About Timothy

I grew up in a town just outside of Birmingham, UK and moved to London for university. After graduating in English Literature BA (Hons), I became certified in Trinity CertTESOL (2014) and started my teaching career. I have taught in various educational institutions ranging from Peñas Albas Biliingual Primary School to the University for the Creative Arts.

Whether you are preparing for an exam, developing your general English skills, or just looking to socialize and meet new people, we offer fun, dynamic and engaging online classes led by experienced native British teachers.

Our Classes:[ N]
GENERAL ENGLISH - designed for people who want to be confident in a variety of situations and who want to improve their English skills for everyday life and conversation.

EXAM COURSES - specifically designed for the IELTS test and Cambridge Suite Examinations: PET, FCE, CAE, and CPE.

JUNIOR COURSES - fun, exciting and immersive learning experience for young people aged 10-16. Our energetic and dynamic lessons are a great way to make real progress while having a good time!

CONVERSATION CLUB - Fun interactive conversation classes where you can practice and develop your fluency skills. New, engaging and stimulating conversation topics every class.

BUSINESS COURSES - With a special emphasis on spoken communication, professional email/letter writing, and key vocabulary, this course aims to develop the formal communication skills that are necessary in any workplace.

1:1 CLASSES: If you prefer classes that are completely personal to you and your learning style, we offer private 1:1 classes which offer a more focused teaching experience. Do you have a presentation to prepare or a specialist examination that requires our expertise?

What is our experience?

We are native British Teachers with over 15 years combined experience. We are highly experienced in the preparation of IELTS and Cambridge Suite Examinations (A1-C2) having led numerous students to exam success. In addition to exam preparation, we have taught General English to students with levels ranging from beginner to proficiency, as well as niche courses such as Aviation English and Pre-sessional Art Courses in English.

How do we teach?

We pride ourselves on our fun and energetic approach to teaching. Moreover, we both emphasize creative lesson planning in order to deliver consistently dynamic classes that ensure all language skills are developed. To give you an idea, expect to converse with your teacher and classmates throughout, watch and respond to videos, and participate in interactive games that reinforce the grammar and vocabulary taught.

What do we like about teaching?[ N]
Throughout our careers we have particularly enjoyed the teacher-student relationships that we have developed. It is an aspect that we always try to cultivate through a supportive and sociable teaching environment.
