About Phoebe
Hi! I’m originally from Hong Kong and have been living in the UK for over 13 years. I’m fluent in both Cantonese and Mandarin, and I’m passionate about helping others feel confident using Chinese in real-life situations.
I decided to start teaching because I noticed many people want to learn some Chinese before travelling, but aren’t sure where to start or who to learn from. I aim to make learning approachable, practical, and enjoyable—whether you’re preparing for a trip, improving your speaking skills, or studying for exams.

I offer friendly, practical Cantonese and Mandarin lessons tailored to your goals—whether you want to build confidence in speaking, prepare for a trip to China, or improve your overall fluency. My teaching style focuses on real-life conversations, helping you speak naturally and comfortably in everyday situations.
I also provide structured support for GCSE and A-level Chinese, covering speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. Lessons are personalised, engaging, and paced to suit you, with plenty of speaking practice to help you progress quickly and confidently.
