About Shaojie
I'm a native speaker of Chinese/Mandarin who have grown up, been educated and working in China for most of my life, until my wife and our child moved with me to Adelaide three years ago.
I have been a language teacher, a journalist, a translator and a localization manager. In all these jobs I help bridge the linguistic and cultural gaps and facilitate communication between people of different nationalities and backgrounds.
I have college degrees in English and communication. I held the IPA certificate for teaching Chinese as a foreign language when I worked at my college back in Beijing. I now am a NAATI certified translator.
