About Freya
Hi! I am a native Chinese speaker currently studying in the UK. I enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds and helping students feel more confident when learning Mandarin.
I am patient, friendly and easy to talk to, and I understand that learning a new language can sometimes feel intimidating. That’s why I like to create a relaxed and supportive learning environment where students can improve naturally and comfortably.
I am especially happy to help beginners, conversational learners or anyone interested in Chinese language and culture.

I am a native Mandarin speaker currently studying in the UK and I would love to help students improve their Chinese in a relaxed and friendly way. My lessons are suitable for beginners, conversational learners and anyone interested in Chinese culture or daily communication.
I believe language learning should feel natural and enjoyable, so my classes focus on speaking, listening and real-life conversation rather than pressure or memorisation. Lessons can be adapted to each student’s level and goals, whether you want help with pronunciation, daily Chinese, travelling or casual conversation practice.
Lessons are usually 1 hour long and can be online or in person depending on location.
