About Nnenna
Born and raised in Amsterdam, and brought up in a Dutch/British household, I moved to Montpellier in the south of France to study History of Art. Later, I moved to London, where I obtained a BA in Social Science & Education Studies from UCL and an MSc in Human Rights from the London School of Economics.
I started writing from a young age, and my (Dutch) writing has appeared in national newspapers and magazines including NRC Handelsblad, De Groene Amsterdammer and Vrij Nederland.
I also work as a policy adviser in the climate & human rights sector.

My lessons are based on immersion and personalisation. I adapt each class to the student’s interests, goals and passions, so learning Dutch feels engaging and practical from the start.
We work with real-life materials and conversations, focusing on natural speech, reading comprehension and confident writing.
I have several years of experience tutoring languages and teaching students from different backgrounds.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes, but can be adapted if needed.
My classes are suitable for adult learners of all levels, from complete beginners to advanced students who want to polish their speaking or writing at a high level.
