About Tayla
I did my undergraduate degree in Gender Studies and Psychology. I completed my postgraduate, honours level in Psychology this year. I completed a 3 month, face to face, TEFL certificate at UCT and taught at the International House of Cape Town ( season job).

I prefer seeing myself as a facilitator, not a teacher. I like creating an environment for my students, where they are independent learners and do peer corrections, so that the students are less reliant on their teachers. I also have a student- centered teaching style, so less teacher talk time (TTT). Teachers should rather be facilitators of the learning process.
