About Lorna
Hi my name is Lorna, I'm an Irish woman in my mid 30s that has just returned from 2.5 years of solo backpacking across Latin America. I had to start learning Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese in order to get by at the most basic level so I understand how difficult it can be starting off and then getting the motivation to progress so you can speak outside of the present tense :) I'm happy to help on your English learning journey and I'd like to make it fun and relevant so that you enjoy the lessons first and foremost. Let's bring it back to the start and ensure the basics are covered so that you've got the foundations to excel.
We can start with 30 mins - 1 hour of lessons and then extend if requested. I'm available most days although I'm not a morning person so evenings or nights would be more productive (based in Ireland so GMT)
I have an Honours degree in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology and I taught First Aid for about 6 years, I'm used to teaching people from all types of backgrounds and academic levels. I prefer not to teach children so ages 18+ is ideal.
