About Abby

As a scholar of French for over 12 years now, I am at the same level of expertise that could be offered by a native speaker. I hold my DALF C2, C1 and B2 diplomas; certifying my level of French to be high enough to seek a PhD, Master's Degree and Bachelor's Degree in a French language. These certifications are issued by the French Governmental Ministry of Education. With five years of experience teaching toddlers to adults, I am certain that I would be more than ready to help you achieve your individual goals in a relaxed, fun, and well-organized way.

About the lesson

All of my lessons integrate the 4 key language skills that build stable and enduring fluency; reading, writing, speaking and listening. I implement a range of tailor-made resources, designed by me for you to ensure you are meeting your specific vocabulary or grammar goals, in addition to being pulled from a wide range of textbooks and online sources. My lessons target any and all ages and levels, from 3 years old until 93 years old! I specialize in helping students undertaking IB, AP, and DELF examinations perfect their exams and am very familiar with these curriculums. I believe what sets my services apart however is my intimate knowledge of the frustration and patience to become a confident French Speaker- I've been there, and I want to use specific tricks and tips to help anglophones overcome their fears and truly enjoy the empowerment of multilingualism.
