About Yeshe
I've loved learning about other cultures since traveling through Central America earlier this year.
I enjoy working with kids and I believe that my basic Spanish understanding will translate well with beginner English speakers who primarily speak Spanish.

I have over 7 years of experience working in hospitality and customer-facing roles.

My teaching style is tailored to beginner English students. I specifically work with students aged 5 - 11. I am a beginner English teacher and I don't have a degree or a TEFL certification, however, I am a native English speaker with the mandatory English Language and Literature High School qualifications.
All students have a different approach to learning a new skill and I can determine the most interactive way for my pupils to learn efficiently. I enjoy a creative approach to teaching because I am a musician too. I want to make my lessons fun as well as productive. For example, my teaching style may focus on game-based learning, learning songs, or project-based learning. Using songs can help learners improve their listening skills and pronunciation; they can also help teach vocabulary and sentence structures. Probably the most significant benefit of using songs in the classroom is that they are engaging for the students. In project-based learning, I will assign a practical or theoretical project, and my student must work to materialize the project. The projects aim to solve real-life problems and not abstract ones. Whatever the case, working on a project is a good example of active learning. It enhances creativity and problem-solving and invites students to think practically.
