About Rachel
My name is RJ, I'm 26 years old, and I love language and cultural learning!
I have spent a large portion of my life traveling, learning about other cultures, and working with people from backgrounds different from my own.
I have a Bachelors degree in Spanish Language and Literature, studied abroad in Spain, and have worked closely with young learners and adults from Central and Latin America.
I spent the last 3 years living and working in North Africa, learned Moroccan Arabic, and taught an English Conversation Class in my spare time.
I have a certificate in TEFL/TESL, and love using that to build relationships with students to help in theirEnglish abilities.

I have the ability to individualize lessons for whatever the learner is in need of at that time, whether that is teaching vocabulary and grammar to young learners still in school or helping adults learn business and administrative English.
I believe it is important that every learner have a variety of lessons within their course, including auditory, visual, verbal, and kinesthetic lesson plans. (Yes, this can all happen online!) Keeping a variety of methods and techniques for each student helps them to grasp and retain information, as well as be excited about learning.
