About Darin
Certified Tefl instructor with 7 years experience teaching English as a foreign language. My classes are all about high student engagement so we use themes and materials that matter most to the students and practice, practice, practice!! If you want to take notes and learn language theory, then this class may not be for you. My methodology is the Communucative Method. The essential idea is that language is acquired through usage, not understanding. Much in the same way that a fist language is acquired. The focus is on fluency over accuracy until reaching an advanced level.
