About Dasha

Hello! My name is Daria, and I am a native English speaker with an international and multicultural background. I was born in the United States, grew up speaking both English and Russian, and completed my higher education in the U.S., where I earned my degree in Performing Arts & Dance.

I have experience teaching children, teenagers, and adults, with more than 2,000 online ESL (English as a Second Language) classes taught and over 700 students supported throughout their English learning journey.

I hold a 120-hour TESOL certification as well as a TEFL certificate focused on teaching young learners. My teaching experience includes conversational English, fluency development, pronunciation practice, and English for everyday communication.

In addition to teaching English, I also have experience in movement, coaching, and performing arts. My background as a rhythmic gymnastics coach and dance professional has strengthened my communication skills, adaptability, creativity, and ability to work with students of different ages and learning styles.

My multicultural background and experience living between different countries have deepened my understanding of language learning, cultural adaptation, and communication across cultures. I strive to create welcoming, supportive, and student-centered lessons where learners can feel comfortable, confident, and encouraged to express themselves naturally in English.

About the lesson

My lessons are 100% in English and tailored to each student’s individual goals, interests, and level. I mainly focus on conversation, helping students develop fluency, confidence, pronunciation, and more natural communication skills for real-life situations.

During our lessons, we may discuss topics that interest you, read and talk about articles, expand vocabulary, improve pronunciation, and work on grammar in a practical and natural way through communication. Lessons can be adapted for travel, moving abroad, interviews, everyday communication, or overall language improvement.

I aim to create a welcoming, respectful, and judgment-free environment where students feel comfortable practicing English and making mistakes as a natural part of the learning process.

My teaching approach is student-centered and flexible, and I adapt each lesson to the student’s learning style, pace, and personal goals. I have experience working with children, teenagers, and adults from different cultural backgrounds and levels.
