About Sarah
I graduated 5 years ago with a Bachelors degree in Spanish (and Biology!). But the truth is, I learned 90% of the Spanish I know OUTSIDE the classroom when I studied abroad in Chile for 6 months. Seeing what a poor job I felt that my classroom experience did at preparing me for the full-immersion experience in a Spanish-speaking country made me want to teach the student that I used to be in a way that I know now from experience would actually be useful to him/her. I tutored younger students when I returned from my semester abroad until I graduated. Since then, I have been using my bio degree working with the National Park Service, and doing freelance Spanish translating for marketing companies on the side. Now I am excited to be returning to tutoring & can't wait to meet new students looking to gain real-life Spanish skills!

Lesson plans will vary greatly depending on your unique needs as a student. There is no rigid outline - we will simply discuss what your needs and goals are and determine what type of lesson would be the best fit for you.
These lessons are for anyone from complete beginners to university students looking to gain a little more real-life conversational experience outside the classroom. I love working with all ages and can tailor curriculum to any level.
