About Alejandro
I’m Alejandro, a native English teacher from the United States and a conversational fluency coach. I’m originally from New York and Miami Beach, and I currently live in Colombia.
I’m TESOL certified and have experience teaching English in person through an international academy, as well as working with private students through my own English fluency program.
I enjoy teaching because many students have studied English for years, but still don’t feel confident when they speak. My goal is to help students use English more naturally, practically, and confidently — especially in real conversations, work situations, travel, and everyday life.
My classes are personalized, organized, and focused on helping students speak more, build confidence, and receive clear feedback throughout the process.

My classes focus on conversational English and real fluency. I primarily work with students who already know some English, but feel stuck when they speak, translate too much in their head, or struggle to express themselves naturally.
My method is based on three steps: acquire, practice, and adjust. First, we look at useful phrases, expressions, and patterns that people actually use in conversation. Then, we practice them through guided conversations, real-life situations, and rapid-response exercises. Finally, I help you adjust your mistakes, pronunciation, speaking rhythm, and expression so you can speak with more clarity and confidence.
A class may include an initial conversation, useful vocabulary practice, speaking exercises, live correction, pronunciation work, and a practical scenario related to your life, work, travel, or personal goals.
I don’t teach textbook English or grammar-rule classes. My goal is to help you use English in real conversations.
