About Terry
I've taught all levels, ages and nationalities (I've travelled to over 60 countries). I've prepared students for IELTS, FCE, CAE and other exams. I enjoy helping students achieve high grades and I believe this can be done in an atmosphere that is relaxed, light and conducive to learning.

I’ve always been a fan of Stephen Krashen’s “Comprehensible Input” which focuses on the needs of the individual learner and gets the measure of the requirement of the student’s ability. Providing material and input, which is marginally more demanding than their capability, has been proven to be a success strategy.
On a personal note, I’ve always been considered to be patient and relaxed in my teaching style, a point that is appreciated by my more younger students. The fact that my accent is neutral British/Irish has also proven to be popular with all age groups.
