About Megan
I'm a neuroscience and French student at a highly competitive university in Virginia. I am passionate about languages and love working with students and families to create a learning plan specific to each individual. I love playing games with my students to engage them in fun learning and reward them for their progress rather than boring them with an hour of me lecturing them. I am a native English speaker and have been learning French for 10 years and teaching it for two. I teach French to English speakers (and vice versa) through an immersive technique. I specialize in primary school children, however I am willing to work with any age, from skill levels ranging from complete beginner through college level courses. My lessons combine important grammar exercises with practical application through conversation, media consumption, and games. My goal is to share my love of languages with students of all ages in a way that is not just effective, but also fun. I cater my lessons to each individual student's learning style and enjoy forming a connection with them as we practice and have fun together.
