About Maekhaela
As a Filipino BS Psychology student, I understand the importance of patience, communication, and creating a comfortable learning environment for students. My background in psychology helps me adapt my teaching approach depending on the learner’s pace, confidence, and learning style.
I aim to make Tagalog lessons easy to understand, engaging, and encouraging, especially for beginners and students who may feel shy or overwhelmed while learning a new language. I believe students learn better when they feel supported, comfortable asking questions, and free to practice without fear of making mistakes.

Hello! I’m Maekhaela, a Filipino BS Psychology student and who offers friendly and personalized online Tagalog lessons for learners of different levels.
My teaching approach focuses on creating a comfortable and interactive learning environment where students can learn at their own pace. I make lessons easy to understand and encourage students to ask questions freely to help build their confidence and communication skills.
Depending on the student’s level and goals, lessons may include vocabulary practice, pronunciation, sentence construction, reading comprehension, conversational Tagalog, and guided exercises. I can also help students improve their grammar, speaking, and overall understanding of the language in a simple and student-friendly way.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my patience, approachable teaching style, and dedication to making learning enjoyable instead of overwhelming. My lessons are suitable for beginners, elementary to junior high school students, and learners who want to improve their Tagalog skills through supportive and personalized online sessions.
