About Simple

Ms. Simple Sonal Desai, a native French speaker with roots in the bilingual nation of Mauritius, has been passionately coaching French language learners since 2015. Her expertise spans across all levels, having successfully coached over 1,200 individuals to enhance their language skills, whether for academic, personal, or professional growth. Known for her innovative and approachable teaching style, Ms. Desai crafts learning experiences that are both effective and engaging. Her unique methods, honed over years of continuous improvement, make mastering French enjoyable and accessible for her students.

Based in Navi Mumbai since 2004, Ms. Desai brings a wealth of corporate experience from her years at e-Serve and ICICI Bank, where her proficiency in French was pivotal in her role as head of Foreign Banks’ customer relationships. Driven by a desire for change, she transitioned from the corporate world to entrepreneurship in 2015, establishing herself as a highly regarded French language coach for students in IGCSE, CBSE, and ICSE schools. In addition to her work as a tutor, she has also contributed as a subject consultant to prominent institutions such as Podar International School, Ryan International School, NIFT, Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering, and Pillai College of Engineering, further enriching the educational landscape with her expertise.

About the lesson

I believe in making learning interactive and engaging. I'll use a mix of teaching methods, such as explaining concepts clearly, discussing ideas with the class, practicing the methods repeatedly and together and doing activities such as role -play, dictation, poem reading to name a few. I'm passionate about teaching and I'm committed to creating a positive learning environment. I'll tailor my teaching style to suit the needs of the students based on the board and grade they are in.
