About Margot

I was born in France and lived there for 25 years. Languages have always been very fascinating to me and I’ve learned English with love and ease. Now, Japanese has been a little more challenging, but that’s what I love. I hope I can share my enthusiasm with you!

About the lesson

Learning a new language takes patience and passion. I believe in starting where passion already lives. Vocabulary first forms around personal interests. Learning a foreign language is meant to facilitate communication: learn about others, tell them who you are, express opinions and needs. The lessons will be designed to fit your needs and face your personal challenges.

Margot helped me prepare for a trip to Quebec. I wanted to have the ability to order in French (restaurants) and ask for key information about the menu. Margot customized our lessons to focus on "transactional French", so I'd be able to understand what I'm being told, and also ask pertinent questions in French. For example, "what local spirits do you carry"? I was able to start the conversation in French, which seemed to be the norm in Quebec. I'm so happy with the results. I would work with Margo again.
