I am a smiling and dynamic native French speaker, currently studying business at UC Berkeley. Born and raised in France, I am now perfectly bilingual.

My teaching approach offers a balance between engaging conversation and structured learning. I believe the best way to learn French is to speak it! But to do so, you need both the confidence to jump into a discussion and the grammatical tools to build correct sentences.
A typical lesson is often divided into two parts. We start with conversation practice : discussing your week, a cultural topic, or a film you saw in French, to work on your fluency and accent.
Then, we move to targeted exercises to reinforce the specific grammar points or vocabulary where you might be struggling.
Between courses and depending on your schedule and availability, I can assign homework, whether it's watching a French film, reading a book, or completing specific grammar and vocabulary exercises to reinforce what we learned.
