About Hawa
My name is Hawa, nice to meet you! I recently joined the University of British Columbia and had the chance to start teaching nutrition classes to elementary school children. I absolutely fell in love with teaching and decided to try my hand at something new by offering my services as a language teacher. Indeed, I am fluent in 3 languages (French being my first language), and learning 2 others. You guessed it, languages are another passion of mine!

Every person learns differently, and I prefer to work with my students toward finding strategies that work for them.
As I am a native French speaker, I believe that learning with me will help you reach not only a better understanding of the language, it's culture and it's nuances; but also, and most importantly, it's pronunciation.
