About Lore

Hi! I’m Lore, a native French speaker from Belgium currently living between Canada and the US.

I have several years of experience teaching and coaching, and I really enjoy helping people feel more comfortable and confident while learning something new. Through my work as a circus artist and movement coach, I’ve had the opportunity to teach people of very different ages, languages, backgrounds, and experience levels, which has taught me how to adapt my approach to each person.

I’m a friendly, patient, and curious person, and I love meeting people from different cultures. I also speak English fluently, so I can easily explain things in English when needed, especially for beginners.

Whether you’re just starting to learn French or simply want more opportunities to practice speaking, I’d be happy to help you make French a natural part of your everyday life.

About the lesson

My lessons are designed to help you feel more comfortable and confident speaking French in real-life situations.

I focus mainly on conversation, pronunciation, vocabulary and natural expressions, while adapting each lesson to your level and your personal goals. Whether you want to travel, communicate with French-speaking friends or family, prepare for a move to a French-speaking country, or simply become more comfortable speaking French, we can build the lessons around what is useful and interesting to you.

A typical lesson might include a short conversation to warm up, followed by a topic or situation to work on together. I’ll help you find the right words, correct your pronunciation and grammar when needed, and introduce more natural ways of expressing yourself. We can also work on specific vocabulary, grammar or pronunciation depending on what you need.

I have a lot of experience teaching and working with people of different ages and levels, and I really enjoy adapting my teaching style to each person. My goal is to make French feel practical, approachable and enjoyable rather than like a traditional school lesson.

My lessons are suitable for beginners, intermediate and advanced learners. They are especially suited to people who want to improve their speaking skills and feel more confident using French in everyday life.

Lessons are available online in English or French, depending on your preference and level.
