About Johan

Bonjour, I’m Johan, 24 years old, based in Lille in the north of France.

I’m a native French speaker with a professional background in logistics management, and I also run my own eco-friendly business in the water and sanitation sector. Alongside that, I’ve always enjoyed teaching and helping others learn French, which I’ve done with students across Europe.

I speak French and English fluently, with basic knowledge of German. I’ve also had the opportunity to travel and work abroad, which helps me understand the challenges of learning a language from an international point of view.

I’m also into sports, which keeps me disciplined and focused — something I bring into my teaching approach as well.

My lessons are open to all levels and profiles: complete beginners, students preparing exams, or professionals who want to improve their French for work or everyday communication. I keep my lessons clear, practical, and adapted to each student’s goals, in a relaxed and structured environment.

And yes… I’m French, so of course I like bread and cheese

A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes and includes speaking practice, learning new language points, practical exercises, and personalised feedback so that you always leave with something useful to apply immediately.

I work with beginners, GCSE and A-Level students, university students, professionals, and adults learning French for travel, relocation, work, or personal interest.
